Ponder These Moments…
0Parties to attend. Gifts to buy. Trees to trim. Kids programs to go to. Cookies to bake. Presents to wrap. Songs to practice. Lights to hang. Stockings to fill. Cards to send. Will the busyness ever end? Are the holidays a blur of activities and functions where we miss out on the real meaning of Christmas?
I contend that our lives are so filled with to do’s that we are missing the little moments of magic during Christmas. The moments God puts before us… showing his glory and his promise… yet we’re too busy to notice.

This is for you…
1I bought a fantastic bracelet a few weeks ago by Lenny & Eva. Attached to the bracelet was a poem that warmed my heart… I wanted to share it with you… I invite you to find yourself in it…
This is for the one who has found her way,
and the one who is still searching.

Conga Anyone??
3
Have you ever been to Mexico? American’s flock to the Riviera Maya during the cold northern winter months. We escape the white snow for in search of white sandy beaches. Many prefer an all-inclusive resort where the buffets are long and the liquor is top-shelf.
Even though the conga line originated with slaves brought to Cuba from the Congo region of Africa, the dance is performed nightly at Mexican night clubs. Every dancer in the conga line is awarded with a stream of tequila being poured down their throats. This was my first introduction to the conga line in 1998.

The Guardian Bell
0I’m not into ghosts or superstitions but sometimes there are things that happen for no apparent reason. When things like this happen to a biker while on the road, we blame it on the Evil Road Spirits. Evil Road Spirits are mischievous little gremlins that happily cause problems for bikers. Think of Stripe from the Gremlins movie… pointy ears, wild yellow eyes, and sharp teeth… you’ve seen an evil road spirit!

The backroads…
4There is something uninviting about riding on the interstate. Defending myself against the drag caused by huge 18-wheelers… Stopping only long enough to fill the gas tank and use the ladies’ room… Orange barrels, orange barrels… Playing leap frog with drivers that don’t know how to use cruise…
