About Me

I suppose you could call me a ‘biker babe’. I guess I prefer biker babe over ‘soccer mom’. I’m proud and honored to be riding a Harley for the last 14 years. I’m excited to see so many more windsisters on the road than when I began! I welcome you to the freedom and adventure of riding!

My first ride wasa black 1200 Custom Sportster decked out with all the Ride to Live – Live to Ride accessories… yes, it had bling. She had great speed off the line but not the lap of luxury on the long hauls. My 2nd Harley was a 1995 Heritage Softail with Fat Boy handle bars and a low, throaty sound. Friends said it looked like I was driving a Mack Truck from the back since the bars were wider than I was! I was thrilled to climb the ranks with my 2007 Street Glide. This ride is so smooth that I feel like I’m standing still at 80 mph. The tunes go on and I’m “Smokin” down the road so bring on an extra 100 miles!

My love affair with riding began with a trip to AZ where I experienced my first ‘real’ ride. I loved having the wind in my hair and feeling the warmth of the sun on my face. I loved the feeling of risk, adventure, and ultimately living life on the edge. Iloved the speed and strength of the machine… racing across the desert, it was almost as if I could take flight.

I face each ride with the same excitement and exhilaration as I did so many years ago. Each crank of the throttle is my invitation to speed, adreneline, and empowerment. On my bike, I am one with the road and with the elements. I am one with myself and the Creator of the universe. This is my time…

You may not read another biker blog like this one… as a matter of fact, I hope you don’t. I believe that for every ride there is a lesson and I am the student. My goal is to give you a glimpse of these lessons learned… my perspective of the rides and the riders that take them. You may even have a chance to look within yourself… don’t be afraid to take that journey. Through my stories, I encourage you to experience the power and excitement I feel when the wind is in my hair.

Take a breath… smell the exhaust.

Be silent…. hear the rumble of the engine.

Fix your eyes on the horizon…

Enjoy the view from the road…
